A while ago, we met wedding photographer Mattie Riley at a photo collaboration that featured shelter pups paired with bridal models. Umm, could there even BE anything better?! The collaboration was featured by Washingtonian and Mattie fell in love with our bridal jewelry while she was shooting.
Mattie had to have a pair of our Double Teardrop Earrings for her upcoming Big Day. And, here at J’Adorn, we take it as a HUGE compliment when a wedding photographer wears our pieces in their own wedding.
They see SO MANY brides in SO MANY styles of gowns and jewelry and headpieces. They get a chance to curate the very best for their own weddings. Plus, they know what works from a photography standpoint.

We love the way Mattie is just glowing in all of these shots. It must have been a surreal experience for her to be in front of the camera instead of behind it. But, we’re so honored we got to play a small role in her beautiful day at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.

Mattie and her husband celebrated their first anniversary at the end of August! Happy First Year, lovebirds.
