Partnering with Ellicott City Flood Recovery

As you may have seen on our social media pages, an important part of our local community was recently devastated by flash floods as a result of torrential rain and thunderstorms. Historic Ellicott City is a place where J’Adorn Designs has had gallery shows, photo shoots, meetings with clients, and countless personal experiences. Seeing it literally swept away in a matter of hours left us dumbfounded and heartbroken. The city is strong, though, and it has already begun to band together to begin the long process of recovery.

We are pleased to announce that this weekend we will be participating in a festival hosted by Gogo Guru, the Main Street yoga studio where our owner Alison Jefferies practices. We’ll be selling jewelry from our collection with 50% of proceeds to be donated to the Ellicott City recovery efforts.  The festival will take place at Rockburn Park in Elkridge from 9:00-1:00pm this Sunday, August 15th, and will offer yoga classes, live music, food, a silent auction, a kids’ tent, massage chairs, and other local vendors, including J’Adorn Designs. Full details are available here.

If you can’t make it to the event, you can still purchase jewelry from our online shop all weekend long and 50% of proceeds will be donated to the cause. Whatever your availability this weekend, please join us in supporting this vibrant local community that has given us so much!
