Happy Wednesday, friends! Today I’m sharing a one-of-a-kind set that I recently created for a fundraiser benefitting a cause that is very close to my heart.
I designed this custom necklace & earrings set featuring blue enamel and golden curb chain with golden spike pendants for the Looks for Life Fundraiser. Looks for Life is an event at a local salon (Looks Salon of Columbia, MD) that benefits the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center, which provides suicide prevention programs. After losing a childhood friend to suicide earlier this year, this issue is one that hits especially close to home for me. I wanted to contribute any way that I could.
It was a joy to be able to use my talent as a jewelry designer to make even a small contribution to such an important cause. I made a decorative gift basket for the jewelry set that I created so that the pieces could be included in the silent auction portion of the fundraiser. Looks is also hosting a raffle, live music, and offering discounted salon services on Sunday, September 8th, which is when the auction closes. If you live in the Columbia area, be sure to check it out! More information is available here.
