“It was SUCH a joy getting to know and work with Alison from J’Adorn Designs in Baltimore. It is difficult for me to believe that she is a self-taught jeweler as her intricate designs are pure artistry. Alison’s attention to detail – and sweet personality! – make her a dream to work with. For all of you brides-to-be out there, I encourage you to consider working with J’Adorn Designs to create something special for your special day…and for all of those special ladies who will be by your side (mamas, grandmamas, bridesmaids, flower girls).”

Druzy Gemstones are the Newest Jewelry Trend!

Champagne and gold druzy earringsOne of our favorite trends in the jewelry and fashion world these days is the druzy gemstone look. For those unfamiliar with the stone, the term “druzy” refers to sets of tiny mineral crystals that form on the surface of another stone (most commonly quartz or agate). The crystals may vary in shape, size, and color but often resemble the look of rock sugar and tend to glitter as they catch rays of light.  We’re head-over-heels for the look, so we’ve created a variety of jewelry styles that showcase this special stone while incorporating J’Adorn Designs’ signature love for color.

All of the jewelry featured in this post is now available in our Etsy shop. Keep an eye out for the addition of white druzy jewelry, which will be coming very soon!

This Weekend: All Sales to Benefit the Dehnel Family

DehnelPic

This post is going to be short and sweet because I want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. This afternoon I learned that friends of ours lost their first child at 38 weeks, completely unexpectedly. On top of their heartbreak, they also now have to cover the costs of a funeral that they never planned to have.

This weekend, all proceeds from sales in my shop are going to benefit the Dehnel family. Spread the word, and let’s all lift this sweet family up in our prayers. Get your shop on here.
